About me

Amy is a licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in counseling from The University of North Texas. She began her career working as a child and adolescent counselor providing services for victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, moved to a community agency and then private practice. Amy’s areas of focus are play therapy, counseling pre-teens, adolescents and women. She is passionate about helping families improve parent/child relationships. She uses a variety of techniques to help clients recognize areas for growth and focuses on client’s strengths to facilitate healing.
