About me

I specialize in the treatment of a variety of issues associated with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, child/adolescent development and parenting. I have 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families in a school setting. My experience as a school counselor allows me to work effectively with families and school related issues. I also have extensive experience working with victims of domestic violence and providing grief counseling. I am CISM (Critical Incident Stress Debriefing) trained and a Love and Logic facilitator. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Bilingual Education from Texas Wesleyan University, and dual Master’s degrees in School Counseling and Professional Counseling from Amberton University.

ADHD, behavioral issues, self-harm, divorce, career counseling, self-esteem, school issues, teen violence and multicultural concerns.
