About me

In addition to being a licensed counselor, Trey is also a certified music therapist and pastor of Renovate Church. He is also a licensed clinical supervisor for counselor interns. When appropriate and if clients are open to it, he likes to integrate Biblical truth into the counseling process. Trey has worked in a wide variety of settings including inpatient, state hospital, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, counseling ministry at churches, and private practice. He holds two masters’ degrees in Counseling and Music Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. He has also attended Howard Payne University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Some of his specializations include: Christian and faith-based counseling, marriage and family, sexual addictions and dysfunctions, family of origin issues, anger management, work and career issues, and relationship issues.
